Improving retention of STEM majors through active learning, PLTL, and improved advising.

The GREAT Falcon Project is designed to increase the number of students obtaining degrees in STEM at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls through increasing student retention.

Our plan includes Introduction of active learning pedagogies Peer-Led Team Learning in key roadblock courses Proactive or intrusive advising

The GREAT Falcon Project is part of a larger set of institutional initiatives to improve student retention and performance at UWRF.
